Warm spring and summer evenings are finally here, and this year there are more than a few new ways to enjoy a night out in Nashville. If you’re like us and find yourself more open to a Thursday night or even a (gasp!) Monday night out during the warmer weather months, we have a few new-to-Nashville options for you to consider. Here are some exciting new options for a fun night out in Music City!
NightLight 615
New to Nashville this spring and summer, NightLight 615 brings the movies outdoors, specifically to Bicentennial Park. The organization sets out to bring Nashville’s young professional crowd out and under the stars. Each movie night, which are for ages 21 and older, begins with music from the DJ and food from some of Nashville’s top food trucks. Beer from a selected local brewery and wines will also be available. Kicking off on May 9 with Dazed and Confused as the feature film, you can enjoy bites from Grilled Cheeserie, Yayo’s OMG, Reds615, Funk Seoul Brother and Retro Sno before the show starts. And looking ahead, Mean Girls, Wedding Crashers, Fight Club and more are still to come!
Tickets are $9 in advance and $15 on the day of. Season passes are $50 and include tickets to all six dates and Season Pass features like a private bar and special seating.

The Rambling at Southall
Back for its second season of al fresco dinner parties, we’re thrilled The Rambling begins again tomorrow. Hosted by Chef Tyler Brown, the events promise an unmatched dinner experience. Southall Farm is set among the rolling hills of Franklin, Tennessee. The farm itself is breathtaking, and it’s a place where Chef Tyler and the farmers, all with a deep love for food, grow ingredients to cook with and also to experiment with new technologies in cooking. With exciting things on the horizon for Southall, including an inn and spa, orchards, bee farming and more, Tyler will be able to further explore the circle of life – from planting the first seed to plating a meal.
The Rambling at Southall gives us the chance to experience much of what Southall has to offer and what will be available upon its completion. Set beneath the stars at communal tables, guests can taste Tyler’s creations, formed from the ingredients grown just steps away. The mouth-watering, multi-course meal is created around seasonal ingredients from start to finish. The gardens will be open for exploring and playing yard games as guests anticipate the delicious meal. The Rambling cultivates a strong sense of community as new friends enjoy a meal together in this beautiful setting. The dinners take place each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from April 25 through June 15, and each ticket costs $95; beer and wine are complimentary.

27 Live at L27 Rooftop
Live music, cold drinks and a breezy rooftop might just be the ideal spring and summer combination. Luckily, L27’s monthly series 27 Live returns on May 2 promising Thursday night entertainment throughout the season. The nights begin at 7 p.m. with a DJ spinning tunes as the sun starts to set. At 8 p.m., the artist or band takes the stage and plays until 11 p.m. Among this year’s talent roster are Nashville vocalist Jason Eskridge, Birmingham four-man band The Brook & the Bluff, and funk and soul musicians Ruby Belle & the Soulphonics.
It’s tough to find a more beautiful setting than L27 Rooftop on top of the Westin. Admiring the sweeping views of Nashville from their outdoor terrace with a cocktail in hand is the ideal way to (prematurely) kick off a weekend. Take a crew with you, and rent one of the cabanas for a semi-private experience and plenty of cozy seating. The 27 Live events are all free and open to the public. Find out more here.
